Blackberry have been reasonably quiet since the release of their Z30, z10, Q10 and Q5 last year, however they are about to make another big splash into the mobile phone market with their very different Blackberry Passport smart phone.
Blackberry’s Passport to Profits?
Boasting a completely square display and those trademark qwerty buttons underneath the Passport is a very different offering to anything else on the market, the screen lends itself well to full browsing which can prove difficult on the standard ‘oblong’ shaped phone screens and it is also great for reading emails without having to scroll across the screen.
The qwerty keyboard is an evolved version of previous Blackberry devices which incorporates ‘gesture control’ for quick typing and makes it similar to use to the on-screen keyboards of other phones.
On the back is a 13 mega pixel camera with full HD video capture whilst this ‘passport’ sized device is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM and a hefty 3450mAh battery!
Where to buy the Blackberry Passport
This amazing looking phone is now available to buy on EE, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone contract deals as well as a SIM free and unlocked handset.
